The 13th annual Intercollegiate Tennis Association Kickoff Weekend takes place January 22-25, 2021 at 10 different facilities across the country. The Hawkeyes are making their fourth appearance at the ITA kickoff. Iowa visited the Austin site in 2020, falling to No. 7 Texas (4-0) and No. 29 Texas Tech (4-1).

Illinois will host the Men’s National Team Indoor Championship on Feb. 12-14 at the Atkins Tennis Center. ITA Kickoff Weekend is unique in college athletics in that each regional is determined via the Kickoff Weekend Draft, where each team selects which regional they wish to participate in. Selections are made in order of the final previous season’s Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings.

Women’s Tennis Set to Host ITA Kickoff Weekend. THE FLATS – The 12th-ranked Georgia Tech women’s tennis team gets its home slate underway this weekend, welcoming three nationally-ranked programs for the 2021 ITA Kickoff Weekend. The two-day tournament will take place Jan. 23-24 at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – With the completion of the ITA Kickoff Weekend draft on Wednesday, Vanderbilt women’s tennis will head to the West Coast in January 2022 after selecting to participate in the Berkeley, California, pod. Scheduled for Jan. 28-29, the Commodores will go up against San Diego in the opening match before taking on the winner of California versus BYU.
The ITA Kickoff draft, usually held in the summer, was understandably delayed this year, due to the uncertainty around the resumption of the college tennis season for 2021. Last month, the ITA announced its modifications for the Kickoff Weekend, which decides the teams advancing to the National Team Indoors in February. The No. 4-ranked University of Michigan men's tennis team begins dual-match play this weekend, hosting the ITA Kick-Off on Saturday and Sunday (Jan. 23-24) at the Varsity Tennis Center. The Wolverines will take on No. 15 Baylor at 10 a.m. on Saturday (Jan. 23), and U-M will face either No. 11 Texas A&M or No. 21 Pepperdine on Sunday (Jan. 24).
One of the most geographically wide-ranging tennis tournaments in the world will begin play on the weekend of January 26 through 29, 2018. That is the tenth annual Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Kick-Off Weekend, launching the 2018 spring season of intercollegiate tennis. It will happen at 24 different NCAA Division I tennis facilities, and include 60 teams from each gender.
